Big Girl

For the past couple of days, I've been trying to teach Lindsay to hold her own bottle. I figure she coming up on 7 months, so she can start holding the bottle herself. She wasn't too keen on it at first because we've been doing it for her. But, I had a friend tell me to put her hands on the bottle for her (previously I had been waiting for her to grab it herself, with no luck) and it worked! Now when I put one hand on the bottle she reaches for it with the other. I'm really impressed because it didn't take long at all for her to pick up on it. All that to say, yesterday when I gave her her bottle, she took the bottle and started twisting it in her mouth. I thought it was too cute. And, I was slightly amazed because no one had shown her how to do that; she just picked up on it herself. Smart girl!
