New Bathroom!

When we moved into our house, there were holes in the side of the tub in the master bathroom. Not too big of a deal since the curtain blocked it and water never got that high in the tub. We thought we'd wait a while to have it fixed since it wasn't an immediate fix. Well, that changed when the plastic handle above the soap dish was broken; we were afraid water would get back behind the tub and mold, since there wasn't any green board to prevent that. So, fixing the bathroom moved up to a priority. We interviewed several places to find a decent price that wouldn't break the bank and chose Better Bath to do the job. They were going to pull out the old shower & tub, put up green board, raise the shower head (for Marcus), put in a new tub, put the surround all the way to the ceiling, and give us a new curved shower rod. Lots of stuff to do, and they would do it all in ONE day. That was the kicker for us. We couldn't go weeks with a bathroom out of commission. But, not only that, we have a lifetime warranty on everything. That was important, too. Anywho. Today was the day that everything was going to be done. And, it took all day. The guy showed up at 8:00 and was done around 5:30 with no breaks. He did it all by himself; I was impressed. And, to boot, guess what his name was.....Marcus! It was a little weird talking to a guy with the same name as my husband. I am so excited about the results (I keep going into the bathroom, just to look at it.); I had to share them with everyone!
